Investment Account; is an account of a special nature that must be opened for the trading of securities. If you want to invest in capital market instruments, it is a type of account that allows you to invest easily and keep track of your investments.

With the Investment Account you can open from Albaraka Mobile, Internet Branch and all Albaraka Türk Branches, you can carry out the following transactions:

  • Lease Certificate,
  • Mutual Fund,
  • Stock trading transactions,
  • Keeping of ELUS (Electronic Product Bill) in the investment account,

What is the Compliance Test?

During the opening of the investment account, you are subjected to a compliance test.

The tests you complete in order to determine whether the products or services offered by investment organizations are suitable for you are called compliance tests.

In general terms, the eligibility test questions are as follows:

Your age, educational status, profession, how long would you consider utilizing your investments in the capital markets?

What is your risk and return preference?

What products have you invested in before, how often have you invested, and how much has your trading volume been in these products over the past 1 year period?

Who is a Qualified Investor?

Persons and organizations that fall under the scope of qualified investors are as follows:

  • Domestic and foreign investment funds,
  • Pension funds, Investment companies,
  • Intermediary institutions,
  • Banks,
  • Insurance companies,
  • Portfolio management companies,
  • Mortgage financing institutions,
  • Pension and support funds,
  • Foundations
  • The funds established in accordance with provisional article 20 of the Social Insurance Law No. 506,
  • Public benefit associations,
  • Other investors to be determined by the Board that they are similar to these institutions in terms of their qualifications,
  • Natural and legal persons holding Turkish and/or foreign currency and capital market instruments worth at least TL 1 million as of the date of the initial public offering of the fund participation shares.
